Project Overview
Korsail Energy is proposing to develop a solar facility coupled with a battery storage project in Otero County, Colorado. The facility will contribute to the future of energy independence, generating clean and affordable electricity for customers. Development and construction will boost the local economy through new tax revenue and jobs, all while minimizing impact on existing agricultural land.

Project Facts
Point of Interconnection
The Point of Interconnection will be to an existing Tri-State transmission line, approximately 1 mile southwest of the project.
Land Use
The Project will be developed on leased private lands and zoning will remain intact.
Project Lifespan
The Project lifespan is 50 years, after which the land will be reclaimed and restored to agricultural use.
Job Creation
Approximately 300 jobs will be created during construction, with 2-3 being permanent during operation.
